Next, the "wheels" are more commonly known as "reels"  - like you'd see on a movie projector. (Remember those?  :24:)
Is there any particular problem where you need to see it running with the door open?
I'm definitely not a Sigma expert but very likely there's optic circuits that are "cut" when the door is open. Obviously these are needed for when the machines were in casinos. They can be bypassed easily thought if you really don't want them in use. Post a photo of your machine and one of the side where the other switches are. In some cases, it's just easier to replace those with push button stitches or toggle switches. Or, just find a replacement key switch.
I'll PM a more experienced member and he should chime in with more (and perhaps better) information.

SIGMA Reel Games / Sigma 3 wheel questions: Manuals, door buttons, keys.
« Last post by PyroJim on Today at 08:29:53 AM »
I just got my first Sigma machine.  It's a 3-wheel model number I-3213.   I believe that it came out of Boomtown Casino in Nevada.
I've looked in the NLG Files section and I do not see a manual for it, but the manual for the SG-32 and the SG-50 are very similar.  Is there a seperate manual available for this particular model?

I've got it working pretty well so far, but I have not figured out how to run it with the door open.  Pushing in the little door button switch does not seem to fool it, there appears to be something else.  Can anyone tell me what the secret is to running it with the door open?

I have the main key to the cabinet and the key to the CPU door, but I do not have the key(s) to te the reset switch or the other two rotary switches on the side.  Are these available anywhere?

Thanks all.

It sounds like the solenoid releases the handle from it's upright position every time, however, it doesn't want to activate the microswitch, when you pull the handle all the way down to it.
Something is wrong in that area of the handle mechanism.
The solenoid is up on top rear, while the microswitch is located towards the front of the cabinet behind the cashbox....if you have one.
One photo would help us, help you...instead of guessing what you have in there.

These are the S2000 buttons from the set available on Amazon and sold by Spin. I can understand them not being OEM, but they're specifically for the S2000.
7
Those are arcade game buttons, not original OEM IGT S2000 slot machine buttons.

They came shipped to me like this already though. I'm away from the machine at the moment, but that would be odd if the LED was installed flip flopped.
9
The LED is polarized. Rotate it 180 degrees.

So I replaced the old Max Bet bulb button with my new LED button and got it installed fine. I copied the plug-ins for the wiring from the old button. The button works when pressed, but it never lights up. Anybody see what I did wrong? Thanks.

EDIT: Added 2 more photos showing the LED button by itself.
