I hate these as much as everyone else here but I have one here I need to get running .....on power up it displays a 3 in the credit disp for the odds it set at ..... Won't take coins , game over and insert coin not lit
As per the manual I tried resetting the jackpot with the front key .... No change .... Went into setup menu and played with the odds ... After pulling the knob to lock the setting and cycle the key and or power is should reboot and does not .... Ombré power still shows a 3 the setting did not save..... Pulled the board and checked the memory cap voltage and have 4.5v....... Not sure if that's too low for this to boot or not ... I would think it's enough ..... Beyond what I did I'm at a loss that stuff usually gets these going .... Oh also no coin jams or issues there either ... Also no error codes displayed ..... Any help if greatly appreciate

Did you do the full reset with the key inside the machine?
If not,
Turn machine off
Turn the key to the right
Power machine on
Change odds setting if you want to (1 is lower odds 6 is easiest odds)
Push down on start joystick
Turn key back to the left
That's the full reset. Hopefully the game will now accept coins and play

I found the prob the key switch was bad....
