Hi, my name is Tom. I am located in the New York, Long Island area. I have a Japanese, 2005 model Pachislo, Kitac "Juggler" machine. I acquired it at a garage sale. When I got the machine the original glass had been changed to a "Vegas" type theme. The machine functions fine, all sounds, lights, wheels, and payouts work fine.
What I'm looking to do is more of a customized modification to it. I have replaced all the "Vegas" theme glass that someone else installed with my own design and made it an "Elvis" theme. ( it looks great now!!!)
The current music and sounds are from the original "juggler" theme and are circus type sounds and music. Is it possible to add some other music and sounds to the existing sound chip? I don't need to change all the sounds, but would like to change some of them. For example, when the machine hits a jackpot it currently plays a "circus" type music. I would like to add some type of "Elvis" music and have that play when a jackpot is hit instead. I am also looking to change some other "dings" and sounds it currently plays. Finding the sounds I want the machine to play is not the hard part, having them installed and assigning them is my question.
I am very handy and have done some research and located the current sound board and am able to remove it and can send it out if needed. I can also send the entire machine if necessary.
Is what I am looking to do possible?
