« on: November 14, 2015, 06:22:57 AM »
Hi im new to this and dont know if im in the right section but im looking for some help on an old machine. I have managed to get the machine booted but cant get it past game disabled 129. A manual or some help on the settings would be great.

Hello,

I picked up a similar Vidco machine a few weeks ago. Really hard to get info on them. I managed to fix the screen and power supply that were blown. The game would boot up but the alarm kept going off and the Settings menu was up on the screen. Found out that there was an optic sensor behind the top artwork that needed a little reflector in front of it. The game started working after that. Was really impressed so I cleaned it up and put it in my games room. Since the move it won't work. I also get a Game Disabled 1 message on the screen.

If I bridge the top optic sensor wires I get a Self Audit Error. I'm going to replace the optic sensor, the one with the reflective tape, see what happens.
I also changed to Glock setting to YES and now all I can do is change the time but nothing else.

I'll disconnect the board battery and remove the RAM chips then reinsert, see if I can force the machine to hard reset.
Will keep messing around and let you know how I get on.

Picture is of the machine before I cleaned it up, it was pretty dirty, will get some more pictures up soon.

Cheers
Blair
