Is it the coin in, coin out or drop meter that goes up by one number?

My guess is the "in" meter.

WMS Williams Video / BB3 standard operating temp.
« Last post by Newbooty on Today at 02:42:59 PM »
So I got a new game yesterday and loaded it.  This is the first time I have owned my BB3 in the spring.  My garage stays about 90 degrees all summer.  After about half an hour the machine rebooted. Then about every 20 minutes after over and over.  I checked the cabinet  temp. It was running between 94 and 97 degrees.  This morning turned the slot on and it ran no problem and temp was around 78 degrees.  Is there a max temp that we should not be running these at.  I know in the casinos they got AC on all the time, but my garage not so much.  Thanks.

Welcome!
I seem to recall asking the same question on my Sigma. As Mark said, I think it is to be an optics sensor, it shut those reels off when the door is open.
Regarding those 3 key switches: The owner before me made the decision for me because they drilled them out thinking they were door locks. As such I had to replace all 3 no questions asked. I installed push buttons so the future generations wouldn't need to have 3 keys to deal with. Since one was accounting it is means you would surely have at least two keys because floor personnel do not have access to accounting info. If I recall the three switches are: Accounting, Previous hand, payout reset.

If you really want to use key switches you would pull them and have a locksmith re-key, or buy new key switches. If you did the later you could use the same key for all.

Keep us posted and send pictures of your machine. Those Sigma's are really fun to play.

Chris

I did do some more testing today. If I plug the machine in with everything in it and everything hooked up but the door open the fuse does not blow. As soon as I push the door switch in the counter clicks over one number and the fuse blows. So it was 84033 before i pushed the door switch in. When I pushed the door switch it went to 84034 and the fuse blew.
Does anyone know what is tied into the door switch that could be shorted out? Wish I had a schematic for this machine.

    Thanks

Hello all,

I have an S+ with a WBA 12/13 BV. I’m trying to figure out what bills it accepts and what it won’t. So far, it takes some ones and none of the new bills. I found a couple old small head 100s and it will take one of those but not both. Just trying to see if this is an issue with the BV itself (needs to be cleaned, etc), and if it will accept the new bills or not. I see there are some updates that can be performed but I have little experience with slots at this point, so any help would be appreciated! Attaching a photo of the BV and MPU as well.

IGT S2000 and Vision Games / u67 newbie damage...
« Last post by humbertcw on Today at 01:22:33 PM »
Hi everyone, I am Humbert (im from Spain, excuse my english), I hope my post dont offend nobody if my questions are dumb or were solved on past posts...

i have a igt s2000 TRIPLE STAR 5 reels with bill acceptor, netplex printer etcetera... i just purchased from someone who said me that the machine was not working but in the past it was working normally. maybe he didnt know about reseting with the attendant/jackpot key (rebooting, looking for errors, etcetera) and all that no to easy but not to hard procedure..

i have also a igt s+ coin operated RED WHITE BLUE working flawless since I bought it more tahn 10 years ago. so i am a igt lover since back in time.

well, let me start... i am newbie on the s2000 and was trying to figure out how to solve any kind of problem I would observe in my triple stars 5 reels. well i did some rebooting (reset) and everything was corrected and fine, ready to play, no errors reported, everything good, except that the bill acceptor was not doing its job so I ask you please if someone can be kind and tell me if there are some step by step procedure to enable the bill acceptor, ticket printer etcetera... I am asking this, but before I post this, 2 days ago I was trying to fix and solve this issue so I observe that in some moment, the mpu was like doing false contact and I didnt pull out, only push a little but i began to smell like something burnt. then i turn off the machine, remove the mpu and saw that the U67 was a little blew... I want to know if its possible to buy it the one that appears on ebay, then replace the burnt with the brand new one, solder the newer and thats it or if I must do some configuration process of that replacement afterwards?

in another past post i read that if you pull out the mpu while powered on, this U67 became damaged, but didnt read if a simple job of replacing is enough whitout any technical configuration or something...

i also detected that the induction coil 100 microhenrys 3Amps was blew but that one was like burnt even before i messed up the U67. so my humble question is if also it is enough to buy it at ebay (PE-92108K if im not wrong) and replace the new one and thats it?... (if someone could advice of me what could be the possible causes about this piece tu burnt so i try to figure out if it is neccesary to make a previous review or something need to be fixed before replacing that coil...)

take in mind that Im on  a budget and is not possible to acquire a new mpu right now... so if I replaced this 2 pieces will be good enough?  do u think the machine will be fixed and ready? and then I supposed the next step will be to configure the bill validator? (i guess is disabled or something, or i am wrong, you think is not connected or what could be wrong about it?)

i will appreciate your help... blessings

humbert :thank_you:
