S+ Help Needed

Hey Tilt, it's a igt s+ double diamonds, I'm also confused about coin comps mine has a cc40 is this correct for this model? he gave me a cc16 also and don't know what is the correct one for this machine
I got the clear set from one of our vendors and followed the directions and it seems to boot up as stated and the insert coin lite comes on and can credit with the white button but the lite is red. thanks Ron

Go with the CC16 if it has 2 gray wires coming out of the top.
If the 2 wires are green, do NOT use it.

Thanks Tilt. Here's what I have: cc16. Lights up red , not sure if should be green? My inset coin lite is on. 0 credits but coins fall right thru. The rake  is not engaged .can the bill validator being disconnected keep this from working? Someone has taken it out and I see a couple wires unhooked. Red and a Black wire with tape on them      Switch open?   I did a clear and should I do a set also?  Ts again Ron

Still playing with it and found that if I unplug and plug with a rocking
Motion it will energize the relay but drops out when plugged in. Red lite is on but coins still drop thru. Ts Ron

Some CC16's were made with red lights and some with green lights - red doesn't change to green or visa versa.

The 2 wires going to the rake coin, are they green or grey? If grey it's the correct comparitor. What plug are you talking about when you say your rocking it? Pictures are very helpful.

How is the light being seen?
The door has to be closed for the comparator to get turned on and turn on it's light.

Mine has the gray wires and it't the 6 pin on the side.  Jumpered the optics so I can open the door and to operate the service sw etc Another question if I do the freeplay mod off the service switch will the handle still pull? Ts Ron
