We tried that. Cash/credit button light on and off. Still the same thing

I'm looking for this plastic part... not sure what it's called, need like 7 of them..  It's on the back of the S2000 plate at the bottom of the machine (could also be the coin tray), where the speaker mounts. Basically the plate "hangs" on these when inserted correctly.
Any suggestions/help would be greatly appreciated.

Mark. I got your pm, however, it won't let me reply to it. I'll have to think real hard about what my old username was... It has been probably 15 years or so since I've been online

WMS Williams Video / WMS BB1 Input/Output Error
« Last post by danielmark on Yesterday at 08:31:54 AM »
This is my first post on the site using this username. I was active here years ago under an email that I no longer have access to.

I just picked up a BB1 machine from FB marketplace and have never fished with this model before. I haven't had a WMS machine since the 550s were popular.

I am getting an input/output error on the screen during booting. Does anyone have any suggestions where to start?

Happen to wonder what is special about the factory usb drive that makes it to only support those?

Nothing special about it, they programmed it to support only LNW/Bally/SG flash drives

Will it show anything in the boot process? Everything authenticates, says success.  It does say Windows imbedded Standard 7 at the buttom ofd the screen when the ArgOS logo is up

This doesn't boot to your Flash Drive...you need a bootable LNW flashdrive tagged with AIN000000A between AIN000000L

IGT S and S-plus Reel Games / Re: S+ Credit Limit?

According to the online game bible (home page, middle right of the page is RICKS faq, IGT online game bible) Haywire is Type 2
http://www.newlifegames.net/igtbible/IGT%203CM/Game%20Library%20-%20S-Plus%20-%20Haywire%20(3%20Coin%20Multiplier).htm

1274 is a Type 2 chip.
The only reason that it would not work, is if the chip is bad or the board is 16mhz and not compatible with the chip.

I have attached the PSR for the Type 2 (1274) and the common 1271 (which is not type 2). Both have the option to change the hopper limits independently.

From the SP605 PSR sheet...>>>

Credit Limit   Automatically matches the maximum hopper setting that can be set by DIP switch or in the self test mode.

Try setting the MPU dips 1-4 to ON....5-8 OFF
