HI,
I am getting old and my eyes are not as good as they used to be. I put the SB chip the wrong way and now I get a SYSTEM ERROR message.... If I turn the reset key I have the usual blah blah blah , press test switch, close the door and we are back to sysyem error. Besides, the video display stucks to Initializing... I assume the SB is dead.... It is a SB000566. Do you think I will get a chance to get a new one? Thank you

It's possible, though I don't I've ever fried an SB chip inserting backwards. Bucks ahoy is a relatively common game, you shouldn't have any issue sourcing another SB chip for that.
