what the heck is asset failure? got it trying to clear/key an s2000 enhanced.

What clear chip are you using? Does the machine use an R board or legacy adapter board?

dont have it in front of me, but i believe the clear is a 2224, the key a 45. not an r or legacy board.

I would repeat the process, removing the SB and putting the clear in. Be sure the notch on the chip matches the notch on the socket. If that doesn't work I would suspect a bad clear chip. By the way, if you aren't using an R board with embedded programming, then you're using a legacy adapter with SB, SG, VS and possibly a sound simm
