I am in need of some information FOR FROG PRINCE REEL TOUCH . Such as in the computer there is a 3 volt lithium CR2032 battery . Can I put a new one in without loosing any software. I am not to good with computers and need advice.
Do I have to do anything with the bios when I change the battery and how do you reset the BIOS
I think I also need a power supply for the top box as well. PM me with prices to 32708. I sent one in to be refurbished but the previous owner did wonders f..... up this reel touch.
It sorta boots up in the lower box and in the netplex screen it says waiting for top box (not exact words).
He even tried to wash non wetable reel strips for this game 2 inch reel strips which I also need in either size and he did the same thing to the reel strips in the game double dollars 5 reel. Looks like the symbols on the strips are melting.

You not likely find a manual.
You can replace the Battery without issues.
When you boot the machine listen close for the video BEEP from the top box
No BEEP ......issues with top box M/B

Hello I am no expert but I have worked on the Reel Touch machines in the past and I don't think there is a "per say" manual for this slot as Linham noted. I have used info in the IGT vision manual for the reel touch. I have PDF files on the reel touch I have researched and saved and you are welcomed to them. Just send me a private message with your mailing address and I will send them to you. Lindam has helped me out in the past a lot and I am sure he and others can answer your questions. TJ

So I will change the battery in the computer (WHAT IS THAT BATTERY used FOR IN THE COMPUTER?) and wait on the TOP BOX power supply. IF ANYONE HAS ONE PM ME PLEASE plus 2 inch reel strips and more I am sure. I WILL WAIT TILL I GET THE NEXT PART. I found some information on this site so far that was uploaded.
I will post what are the next problems I find and I will listen for beeps.

The battery backs up the non-volatile ram which stores configuration information for the top box computer.

When I change the battery how do I reset the BIOS. What are the steps to reset it.

On the disc I sent you there is a file called "S2000 TITO SETUP--Final Revision". This tells you how to setup the reel touch slot with and without the TITO board installed. Same basic setup as used for an IGT S2000 slot. TJ
