Title: Omega 904 board
Post by: The Fatman on October 17, 2015, 12:05:21 PM
Looking for schematics and manual for this machine. It is a 904 board and has version 23.91 to .95 chips in it. Right now I have no sound but need to check the speaker connections and figure out which  pot is for the sound? Maybe the one marked V. On what I believe to be the sound circuit, there are 2 resistors that were replaced but it might have needed more replaced than those. This is my first casino style poker game. I have had Greyhounds, Kramer and Drews and others but have had no experience with the casino ones with a hopper. It will run the hopper on every 5 coin payout unless it is after there are credits on the machine. I wonder if this is to circulate the hopper or to keep a better ration of coins in and out. I am wondering also how to make it a Double Up game? Will it be a chip change or a dip switck setting? Also does another button need to be added for that.
Thanks in advance ....

Just for the hell of it, can you post a picture of the machine, inside and out?

rokgpsman edited a photo that I uploaded for my 903 board detailing the sound pot and rgb pots. It should be the same for your 904 if I am not mistaken. I do have schematics for the 903 if you are interested. It is not an identical board but very close. pm me your email if interested.

The pot marked V is indeed volume.

Do you see that logo of a out house near the edge connector? That is the same logo Jay Sarno put on the I/O board of the Fortune 1.He called our board the Super Handy Interface Terminal or S.H.I.T card for short.
I worked with him for a while at Fortune Coin, then Sircoma, then IGT.He left to start his own company CEI and designed the board in the picture.
His father owned the Circus Circus in Las Vegas.

For what its worth, I have 2 CEI's. One is the same as yours a Motherboard 910 - 23.9 and 904 gameboard. With no credits, it automatically pays out all 5 coin wins, 10 or higher wins are added as credits. Mine only allows a maximum of 100 credits and then starts paying all wins after that. Still trying to figure out how to increase credit limit. Also once the machine has credits you must play them off, additional coins added are locked out.

My other machine a 906 III turbo + motherboard 911 starts adding credits with no credits on a 5 coin win and has 1,000 credit maximum. With credits present on the machine it will allow you to play coins, thus building up higher credit totals. Obviously once you hit a thousand limit you are required to play the credits it no longer with accept coins and all wins over the limit are paid from the hopper. Play on my IGT PE plus is the same as this.

Not sure if the first machine has the same capability or not. If you find out let me know. I want to set it up like the 2nd machine mentioned above. I like to build a 1,000 credits and then sit back and see how long I last before putting in more coins.
