David K was nice enough to send me a manual for my 1981 CEI video poker machine. Alas, it doesn't tell you much about the dipswitch settings, but makes mention of a double up option that can be enabled. Here's what I know:
The board has 3 dipswitches. -
-The dipswitch chip labeled SW3 has all the settings in the off position. I tried each dipswitch individually but it had no effect that i could see. I didn't try other permutations of the dipswitch.
-The dipswitch chip labeled 300,600,1200,etc has dipswitch 4 on and the rest off. My guess is motherboard speed setting or maybe max coin. Has not been tested.
-The dipswitch chip labeled with the opt1, opt2, etc - the first 4 toggles are the only thing documented and refer to max credits the player may have (1 & 2) and max wager (3 & 4)

I'm a little hesitant to just keep pulling the board so I'm hoping someone has the info.

The machine works great. I'd just like to have the option turned on! Thanks. Some pics to help:

Dip switch 3 is connected to AY38910 sound chip and doesn't do anything. Dipswitch SW1 labeled 300,600,1200 selects the serial baud rate for progressive jackpot controllers.  The blank 28 pin socket on your board is for a 6550 serial communication chip, so these dip switches don't do anything either.  For a double up game you would need to change the EPROMS U5-9 to a set that has that feature.  What game set do you have?s I might have documentation for it, and if anyone is interested can post 903, 904, or 905 schematic. Anyone have 906III schematic?

The software version is 23.9, if that is what you mean by game set. It is a standard draw poker jacks or better, 5 coin max, 4000 coin royal flush payout, 7/5 pay schedule. There aren't any other options - it's a one trick pony. Is there a way to get those chips, given the age of the machine? And, what kind of money are we talking? Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.
