Did you clear the board in the machine after the battery was replaced?

Cleared the board after the battery replacement and installed new main chips. Installed the board back in the machine turned the power back on . The machine went through it startup and than I got the error code 91ff. Should I re clear the game again to see if it goes away. Than replace the mains and restart the machine again.

Try turning all of the switches on DSW1 to off. Only 8 should be on and only for clearing the machine.
When you cleared the board in the machine did you see CHC then CLC?
Did you turn DSW1 #8 off after clearing?

91 usually has to do with player tracking and remote host comm.
the "ff" is not found in the manual.
Make sure when you put the mains back in that you didn't bend a pin, also, another trick is to remove the two RAM chips and and swap them with each other.

Yes, after all of that, do another clear.

I attached a layout for the power supply, make sure your 5 volts reads 5.16 VDC with power on and everything plugged in.
If not you can remove the power supply from the back wall and with power on and reading the 5 volt adjust the power supply with a small screwdriver.

If this game has a progressive meter, check the battery in the progressive controller
