Hi Guys, at  stumbling block again. On this Hopper I have checked all switches, coils,contacts..and find no zero switches on on payout counter. Is there another way this could be set up that I am missing?
I included pictures of the spiral cam at zero...and 5 steps up ..I do not see any switches open or close. I looked on the "B" switches on the RM and see 98 and 78 wires there, but i see them i
on two separate switches on the back of this payout unit.
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Update: I thought it seemed a little strange when the person I bought this machine from..he being a pinball machine and jukebox mechanic.."the hopper has never worked"  No doubt..not after the hopper has been scavenged.. wires were cut so close I over looked them. There is no Payout Relay coil and switches, or Zero Stop switch.

Now the question..find another hopper, or rewire the payout assembly and switches..?

I would say being that is a custom-built machine you will never find the right Hopper you will have to repair the one you have the best way to do that is to keep your eyes out for an old machine that's complete but Rusty and nasty looking so you can buy it cheap that will give you the parts you need I am up here in northern Michigan and I can find machines up here for 25 or $50 that are not rebuildable cabinets are too bad if I was back in Lake Tahoe with my parts I would just send them to you I still cannot travel that far

To bad you can't make it to Vegas. We have over 35 EM hoppers and top units of various sizes and thousands of individual EM parts.
Let them that don't want any, have memories of not getting any.

Yeah...now you tell me...haha  I was just out there about 3 weeks ago. I wish I knew then what I know now.  But really I don't think many hopper came with a 72 pin Beau plug on the hoppers did they? the only one that I know of was the 1081  of course a lot of sub models 1081-6H,  1081-16H,  1081-11H  I just wish I could find a diagram of a 72 pin  wire colors...most are pretty close to my Continental color codes except maybe 10%... It is just a project that will take a lot of back chasing.
