It depends on your meaning of deactivated?  Do you mean, not working anymore, or simply that it doesn't take money anymore?

Well i think it's illegal any way you look at it . But you could max out the limit $$$$ and then pull out the bill validator . then no pay out can happen . Option #2 is use a TITO and set the dips switches so it only will use a ticket that is worthless . MAYBEE :Scratch-Head:  ??  or use tokens and a coin hopper . I think either way it's  still illegal  but as long as you don't  have people loosing monies and turning you or putting the machine in your front picture window then :Scratch-Head:  ?? it should be OK :Scratch-Head:  ?   BUT STILL ILLEGAL

This is kinda a gray area but talkin to a few vendors they say when transporting or shipping slot machines they register them as a arcade game. With the S2000 and no coin handling you can say it's nothing more than a arcade game that's for entertainment only.  Just with any other arcade game it will accept money but you have no chance of winning any money or prizes. And the tickets that get cashed out have 0 value since it cannot be redeemed and also can't be inserted into the machine or any other machine so there for even the ticket has 0 cash value.

I meen that no take money just to pass the border if i buy one from usa.

I like the other option that vendor say when transporting or shipping slot machines they register them as a arcade game and use a tito with it.

but if i want to sell it, may be i should make that is no take money. Is it possible to make that and if the new owner want to make working with money is it a way for him to reactived it ?

Thanks

Yes that's possible to do. You can turn off the bill validator.  And just buy tokens for the machine. You can just remove the bill validator for transportation.  There's tons of things you can do to make the machine inoperable. The main plug that you use to plug into a outlet at home can be unplugged inside of the machine. You could disconnect a wire on the main power switch.

You can also buy or make a label that covers the denomination label that says "token." Some of the vendors here may have on, or you can check ebay. It really wouldn't be too hard to make. Find a good image of one. Print it out, cut it carefully and insert!

It's much easier than all that trouble, contact a69mopar one of out outstanding members that lives North of the boarder. He has a slot sales near Toronto so you would be buying a machine that is already in Canada.  ( he has a banner ad on the home page ) If a machine isn't perfect, Wayne will not sell it.
