Title: 19" Konami Monitor
Post by: Dirtguy on June 02, 2017, 07:41:00 AM
Hi Everyone

I Have a Konami Wells Gardner Monitor that went out. When the machine turns on there is a short flash NO VIDEO INPUT. The game boots and will play but the screen is black. I opened up the back of the monitor and there are 3 boards in there. Does anyone know if I could just replace a board, which one is the problem, or where to get one, or is the monitor scrap? Also Spin has KV2 monitor looks the same but one input is the newer vga, would it work with an adapter. My machine is an Advantage +.
                                                      Thanks Dirtguy

Swap the ballast from the good monitor, into the darkened monitor that has the working touchscreen.
See if you can get it to light up.

If not, swap the power supply boards inside the panels.
You only have about 40 Philips screws to remove...lol...but that's easier than trying to cut off touchscreens.

If these two ideas fail, swap the good touchscreen board into the non-working touchscreen monitor.
See if you can get the touchscreen to work.

This is the other monitor. The picture where I circled in blue is the board that is connected to the touch screen.
