Title: Konami video with error "451 TS Initial Fail"

I've got a Konami 1.5 slant top with the touchscreen error "451 TS Initial Fail"  Manual says solution is reboot and turn reset key.  I have tried this "eleventeen" times to no avail.  I realize these are not popular machines, but anybody have any ideas ??

Hey,
[/size]Just replaced monitor with 2 good working monitors with same error, so I'm guessing it's either in the plugs (harness) or one of the boards.  Any other thoughts ?? :Scratch-Head: :duh:

Denny,

If you've had any of the boards out of the top box you may want to check for bent pins. If you have any boards from a working machine you may want to try a swap. Are you getting the error after a complete boot or during the boot?

It works !  Thanks Lin  :thank_you:  Swapped boards....... I pulled the IOAB and still had the error, next the IOBB, same error and of course the last COM board and that did it.  Just for kicks I switched the communications eprom and that was the problem.  Never had that before and never knew those eproms to go bad.  Well, there is a first for everything.  Anyway touchscreeh is working fine.  Thanks for your help, it was a good idea to check the boards.   :thank_you:
