New here,
Anyone have any information n this old slot machine Mfg date 1965?
Schematics, wiring info, or Manual would be great!
Or anything you may know about the machine.

Thanks!

These are really a great small size working slot machines, "cute would be the word" but some (most) of them use a control box for payouts that has Clair (used in phone equipment) switches inside. No one has seamed to come up with any paper on these machines. I have seen a few of them and you can get them working and playing but because of that control box, most of them don't payout and I haven't seen anyone able to fix that problem yet. This was Pace bought out by Ace which was bought out by Space in the end, thus: Pace-Ace-Space

I have to agree with Jackpot here on this particular slot machine! I had the piggy back version of this in my shop for 6 months and searched high and low for information on the Claire switches and contacted everyone I could think of for information! Had it working perfectly mechanically but the payouts were non existent! Below is a link to my original posting on the Space-Ace Piggy back slot machine which I ended up giving back to the customer at no charge as I couldn't fix it! Apparently there is no schematic or wiring diagram in existing for that puppy! It is not a perfect world. Bona Fortuna! MONTI

Then you got real lucky and now have a great little payout machine. I did receive 4 pages of schematics from a guy by the name of Bill Nobles and I am not sure but I think I sent them to you already; "Monti" but for anyone else these might help someone as this is about the only paper that anyone has found. These are for a machine called an: Allstate Space Jet Bell Slot Machine, it sounds like these might just be for you machine. At either rate you will find the pdf file attached here for these.

Well now I'm curious what model you have there as literature on those is not readily available!
Could you post more high resolution pictures either here or send them to my direct email montislots@thegrid.net so I could add them to my research on the Space-Ace slot machine for future reference?
I would greatly appreciate it as I am unaware of any without the Claire payout assembly!
Thanks in advance for doing so!

Yes, you did send them along and thanks Rodger but those dang little boxes, shown here on the inside of the door were the stump-er and even though I hate to give up on a project I was really spinning my wheels on that one!
I told the owner if I ever figured it out I would get a hold of her!
Marshall Fey didn't even have any ideas on that machine when I called him about it so if he didn't know with his history in the the slot machine hobby I figured I was dead in the water!

Yes,
That really is the control box from hell. I might add that Monti's photo shows two of these box's because he was working on a double machine, most machines only have just have one box on the left side or the door and believe me, one is all you need to make you go completely crazy. Someday, someone will beat this problem. Actually I do know someone who was able to fix one, his name was Steve and he lives's here in the N.W. He worked for the phone company and was a slot and wood rail pinball guy. He told me he fixed one once, and would not try it again and now he is retired and has other interests....

Yes Jackpot, it was in fact a piggy back slot machine and being so was a little more scarce than the usual machine of this type!
Really would have been nice to fix that puppy, oh well double the trouble double the fun, right? LOL

[big]Thanks everyone for the info, I think that fixing my controller card made be a lost cause since my machine has an empty slot in it (may be missing a card, not sure)[/big]

So I've decided to fix it another way, going to make my own slot controller card from a raspberry PI
