Base game software from a Community Game..
« on: December 12, 2014, 03:15:03 PM »
I have the following games:
X Marks The Spot 2
Egyptian Riches
I believe I've only seen these games as part of the original Monopoly Big Event Community bank.
Can someone tell me if these games can be played as base games on a regular BB cabinet, without the Top Box community feature?
Thanks in advance.

No you cannot, it will tilt with comm error to the progressive interface.  They must be configured with the community game attached.

Just a quick follow up to this.

I scored the server card for this community game.

Doesn't do you any good to have the server card without the server hardware.  It requires a special controller if I'm not mistaken to link up all the machines.  You also need the controller server OS.

Eye of Horus is one of my favorite games. WMS has it on their Goldfish FB app.
It was the base game for the Hot Hot Super Jackpot.
I have NO idea how to get my hands on all of the parts Rick mentioned, and if it's even possible to build a home version of it.
If I were able to, I would love to get: Monopoly Big Event, Powerball Power Seat, and HHSJ.

None. To be honest, I wouldn't even know where to begin. I'd much rather buy the last remaining one in Vegas and pay whatever just to have this :)
