IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: IGT Pink panther« Last post by filounet on Today at 03:03:47 AM »Hi,
I'm finally back after some health problems and as all is well I'm going to resume the post where I stopped, namely the change of the card to have the images from the LCD screen, the small board is now changed and I finally access the images, however I have new error messages that I didn't have before ☹ I obviously replaced the two button batteries on the MPU and on the video card that I had removed during my absence. As a reminder, I have already repaired and completely restored many Bally machines but this IGT is my first and unfortunately I therefore have no spare parts to carry out tests if necessary. The error messages are as follows: • CALL ATTENDANT • General Reel TILT • CLOSURE M Sometimes the MPU lights are on and sometimes they are off Thank you for your valuable help and any advice you can give me to finally get this machine working again. 3

CEI and Cal Omega Video Poker Games / Re: Casino Electronics CEI CalOmega General Information« Last post by HorseGame1986 on Yesterday at 11:25:27 PM »Hello my 2 cents,,
I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I live local, among the Thai people. There is a Thai snooker center and there they have a : 1986 Casino Electronics horse racing game. They have a setup with a number of buttons where you place THB 10 coin bets on the odds for 2 horse combinations. I Googled a bit more and it is the King Derby game. It is not in a professional game enclosure/box setup, but dismantled. Fantastic! Below the button-board is a vault. The money drops into the vault and at the lower right in the vault is a wooden box where they pay out and drop the winnings. I play there 2 times per week. Great simple fun. 5
Coin Comparitors and Other Coin acceptors / Re: IGT Double diamond S Plus, coin comparison issue!« Last post by sixcardmark on Yesterday at 08:58:54 PM »I think most S plus back in '91 started out as $1 machines, and the rest of them were quarter machines. I remember all the casinos in Las Vegas had huge billboards advertising 98% payback on their $1 slots. They were mostly all S or S plus machines. Most didn't have BV's yet, you had to go up to the cage and get a "rack" of silver dollar size tokens with their name on them.

Coin Comparitors and Other Coin acceptors / Re: IGT Double diamond S Plus, coin comparison issue!« Last post by jay on Yesterday at 08:30:48 PM »You might find the denomination on the reel glass.
One of the best things about the S+ is that it can morph into any theme and any denomination. The key parts are your coin handling for denomination Then the game kit consisting of glass, reel strips and the two chips (game and reel). The coin head (metal piece) on the outside of the door limits the size of the coin that can go in. A nickel head would not allow a quarter to pass and a quarter head. Would not allow a dollar to pass. If you have some loose change laying about this might give you a clue as to how it was originally setup. Since you appear to have had a cc-33 my bets would be that it was a $1 denomination. As Mark indicated the spacer in the optic board will also be a good indicator 7
Coin Comparitors and Other Coin acceptors / Re: IGT Double diamond S Plus, coin comparison issue!« Last post by Stayouttadabunker on Yesterday at 08:08:04 PM »I sure would like to find out what the original amount was with this machine. Does the model number have some sort of decoding? No....they don't have manufacture build labels, like on automobiles. Whatever decoder guide that's sandwiched in between the coin-in optics and the size of the slot hole on top of the button deck pretty much tells us what denomination the cabinet was originally set up for. Take the coin-in optics apart and show me a photo of both sides of it. There WILL be a part No. molded on the plastics. You need to take the coin-in optics apart anyways...there could be dust balls starting to block up the three optic holes.... those should be cleared of any debris so the optical emitter beams can go thru to be picked up by the receiver optics. If you have the coin hopper for the machine, place a quarter on the top of the wheel shelf and snap a photo of the coin sitting in between the wheel nibs. I could tell you what hopper wheel you have. 8
WMS Williams Video / Re: BB2E - Call Attendant w/ no error« Last post by brians on Yesterday at 08:06:06 PM »Thank you, I replace both the batteries behind the cpu door (they were side by side mounted vertically! I overlooked them several times scanning for horizontal placements!). Seemed to do the trick!
So I am assuming you get a battery warning and everything can continue to operate until such time that the batteries won't hold nvram between boots? 9
NLG Classified ads and White Sheet - PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION BEFORE POSTING! / Want to buy - iGame Distro & needed parts« Last post by stlscott on Yesterday at 07:50:19 PM »I need the parts for the left side of my "guts" for my iGame. I'm attaching two pics, one is my machine (missing the stuff) and one is how I believe the machine should look. I removed the 044 MPU for the picture (I was starting the clean - it's gross). So... I'm looking for the Power Distro/switch thingy and I think it needs some IO boards that mount to it? It's my first iGame so I don't know what I don't know.
Thanks so much Scott 10
