I have 3 MGM Red Glass machines, 955, 962, 989 dime machine, and a re-pop money honey. I don't get to play mine very often. I seem to be too busy fixing projects to sell. One day after my kids move out I plan on turning a bedroom into my game room. Jon has seen my house and machines. I have added to his clutter. He took home 5 EM machine from my garage last month. One is that 4 reel machine. I gave him the other 4 to go thru my machine over the winter. I will be adding that machine to my other EM machines.

My favorite to play is usually the most recently fixed.   Currently 891 Super Conti.   Wife plays the 956 Jack Pot her fav.  Of course the penny machine cleans up all the loose pennys in the house.  Play all 9 slots each at least 10 minutes or more each week.  Weekends, they all stay on for at least 3 hrs to warm up completely and get some more play time.

Jim those are some cool EM slots, first time I have seen a  EM penny version and that super continental looks like a lot of fun to play but it must be a beast to maintain! Nice to know the wife digs the your  hobby and also has a favorite machine. David you have a nice EM combination too and I like the wall art also. Never seen any MGMs machines before or heard of the M/Honey re-pop. Please share some pictures of those baby's!

Here is a picture of an MGM 955 I have a matching set they are identical to Gary's 9:55
As far as penny  machine go when they changed the penny from All Copper in the late seventies early eighties they could no longer use a coin rejector due to the different weight so pretty much all penny machines were going away with at that point in time I do have parts to build one for my collection eventually
And what did you end up using to build your penny machine I remember you saying you wanted one

very nice EM machines! I can see why you like the mustang EM, its got some cool reel and belly glass graphics on it. I"am amazed at all the different types of machines and graphics so its no wonder why most of us have more than one EM slot... it wants me to get 1 more...

? Just one more ?     Come on!!!

I think for 2017 i am going to try and find 3 parts machines over the year.

Of course if I happen upon a 742 or other rare machine I might have to bite.  Bought one parts machine last summer, turned out to be very helpful.  Wasn't salvageable so didnt feel bad.

Jim.. If your like me, I alway try to repair the parts machines first. I have parts every where. I just turned loose of 4 to Jon for the repair of my 4 Reeler pictured in his post. Do like I do here, post a WTB ad on Craigslist in your area under the wanted section. Put pictures of some EM Ballys so people know what your looking for too. My other source is a local slot machine dealer that gets them as trade ins. They usually don't want to mess with them and are happy to make a few $$ profit.
He are two pics, one is my Money Honey re-pop. It has the same strips like CP is selling here, and mines in a Black Metal cabinet. The second is my 989 Dime machine Red glass MGM dual progressive. I bought it at a local farm auction for $400.00. My other two are put away for the holidays.

Hey Gary, nice slots, like the 989.  I have the mgm 962.
First instinct is to return to original if possible.
I think I will post on CL WTB and see what may turn up, thanks.   Don't know of any dealers open to public in the area but I am going to double check.  Many people here at NLG (including you) have been great when I've needed a part.  I hope to do the same too going forward.

My friend ... I try to play all 13 a little every day. I fixed them all and know that in the casinos, they were on 24/7  and played the same. If I dont at least keep them moving a bit, they will return to the state they were in when I found them ... Small price to pay to keep thep up and running. Now I know why the Army had them in their clubs.... cause they run like a damn tank. Bally EM's are the best machines ever made as far as I am concerned. Old reno can attest to this as well I feel.

Dave, I can only image what it would be like to have 13 EM slots under one roof, do you have a particular machine or slots that is your favorite to play?
