changing denom from .25 to 1.00 on a s plus

It has been several years since I have worked on s plus machines. I have the  clear/ reset chips, What is the formula to do a denom change on the machine.   Thanks

Put your set chip in, turn on bvd, set denom. exit replace SP chip

From a quarter to a dollar there are several things you need to change.


Coin In guide (chrome piece where you drop coins in). The 25c one is too narrow to accept dollars.
You need to change from a CC16 comparator to a CC33 (large denomination).
You need to change the hopper wheel to one that accepts dollars.


Set Chip to change your bill validator from 25c to 1.00.

That last part of Jay's message was not directed specifically at you, it is a "tagline" that automatically appears at the bottom of all his messages, sort of like a "signature phrase".
