bally monte carlo cash wheel top box keeps spinning

I have a bally cash wheel that has an error code 9.1.0 and when i do safe ram clear it goes away and the machine with play. But the cash wheel at the top just keeps spinning.  Anybody have any idea of how to fix this?

Ive got a bally monte carlo cash wheel, and the wheel at the top keeps spinning. I also have an error code 9.1.0. When I do a ram clear, the error code goes away, but the wheel keeps spinning.  Does anybody know how to repair this, and a  list of how the settings should be set in the 11d, machine options ??

Is this something you just got?.  I assume this is a 6000 series (look at tag on side if there is one). Sounds like mis-match software or a reel driver chip -etc. given this little info.

Yes, it's a 6000 series.  I've had this machine for several years and everything worked fine. About a year ago I started having problems with the progressive not working, but the machine and cash wheel still worked so I didn't bother with the progressive.  Now, the cash wheel just spins all the time. I changed the main battery on the mpu and the on in the top cabinet.   Did a safe ram clear, the machine worked with the cash wheel spinning, Now I'm getting a 9.1.0 error along with the spinning cash wheel. Any help you could provide will be appreciated.

I responded for more info on your end-Thank you.  I have been out of the 5500/6000 series for a Long time now.  The error charts should be here on nlg.  (without me having to go dig manuals out).  The machine will work without the progressive lit as long as it's the output side.  The wheel is not "mating" with the bottom. This can be many issues- First settings since you wiped it and changed batteries, A flag on the wheel emitter or opto , wiring connections, top wheel driver board/software-etc. etc. Sorry not much help.  Years ago I had many of these but just do mainly Alpha 2 Bally's these days.

Check the battery on the progressive controller in the top box, probably low

battery is good. I'm thinking settings are not configured right, anyone know the correct settings for bally  6000 monte carlo cash wheel?

Thank you Sizzler, I wondered what was going on with the post.   Is there anybody in the Columbus, Ohio area that knows how to repair, IGT and Bally Slot Machines? I have 15 machines in my garage, I have two not working, #1 Bally 6000 monte carlo cash wheel error code 9.1.0 and the progressive needs reprogrammed, and the top box cash wheel keeps spinning.  I have an IGT S2000 with error code door open MB, I would like to have door optics on all the IGT machines bypassed. I have a few S plus machines that need bill validators, of which I have but dont know how to install.  If anybody can help me out, I'd be happy to pay you for your time if you could repair my machines.  My number is 614-499-8098.  Thanks, Ron
