monte carlo and cash time not taking bills

I have a monte carlo and cash time both bally s6000 models. I have changed out the main boards , mother boards bypassed the progressives, tied cash box door wires together and still get the same.

 When I close the main door the arrows light up green on bill acceptor bezel for about 5-8 seconds then turns red. I can open the door close it every thing resets and then same thing happens all over.  I have worked on s6000 before but this is a first, any info would be great.   Thanks

Is the coin mech switch up on the mpu?? Do you have the correct settings on ds2 for you bill accepter?? Did you do a complete clear after changing boards??

Did you do setup in 11d menu after clear?

Yes I did all of the above in the replies several times. Normally I am able to reset these with no problems after clear but these two seem to stubborn.

When you clear the machine are you getting the CLC to show up in display?? These bonus wheel games do not run leave in clear chips, you must install clear chips. If you have done this and gotten the CLC when you clear it  then I would say it is a dbv issue.
