What is the black box above the board on the back wall of the machine with the two lights on it? There are no wires plugged into that but there is a lot of plug ports, how is it fed?

If I remember correctly, that is a casino part that is not used. Mine have it also and no wires going to it. Maybe for player tracking or something like that. Someone asked that a while back, and I don't remember it being used for anything.

When you moved the machine, did you leave the hopper inside with any coins inside of it? It's possible if you did that you have coins in behind the mother board...

hi, i did remove the mother board and checked under it and its clean. i did take out the other board with the chips and just touched eveything on it gently, my sp chip did go down a little. i put the board back in and it has been working all day now, about 8 hrs with no problems. thanks for all the great help hopefully it was just the loose chip that knocked me out. thanks again

Correct, it's the SAS network interface, which would typically only be used in a casino environment.  It is not needed for typical home use of an IGT S+ slot machine, and it's fine that there's nothing plugged into it.
