That picture is your zero switch, not the wiiner paid light switch.
The rubber is probably sticky, so cut a little piece if paper to put in there & that will probably fix it.
Btw, the zero switch does allow the win paid lite to go off by resetting the payboard which opens the winner pd lite switch. You will find it behind the zero switch on back of the board....

Check the zero switch armature for lubricant. Photo attached.

Also photos of the winner paid switch that opens when the unit resets.

The B switch sends a signal to the the horizontal coil on the payout step up unit. Which in turn releases the large tooth white sprocket and opens the winner paid contacts. I believe this is correct.

Possibilities for a malfunction in this order would be the contacts are out of adjustment, the mechanism pertaining to the switch operation needs to be lubricated, the solenoid is weak and not completely engaging the mechanism for the switch.

Has been an interesting adventure. Between listening to all the good advise and trying to figure out what was wrong I finally fixed it I think. At least right now it is working ok.

After lubricating the o switch and everything close I kept opening and closing the door and the light would go out and it would work until the next time.

Finally figured out the rubber gromment was sticky. Went in and cleanned it up and stuck a small piece of thick paper on the bottom and it stuck. No more sticking down when their is a winner.

Last question- Is it very hard to get the right new rubber and is it very hard to replace or should I just leave it alone as long as it works?

Thank you again all,
