Touch issues
« on: November 04, 2017, 01:55:10 AM »
Touch was working fine, I'm playing with 2 board sets here getting them set up how I want, had one almost done..... went and did one last saferam clear to change demon and after that I have no touch..... seems as though I lost the drivers for the controller...... here's what I did since then
Swapped overlay
Swapped multiple controllers about 6 different ones
Swapped boards
Swapped harness by putting monitor and boards in another cabinet
Verified connections with ohm meter from monitor through monitor plug all the way up to back plane to board socket
Verified roms
Did numerous clears again
Cycled sw2 dip 6 to make sure not stuck on
Verified good ground controller to chassis and earth ground

As of Now I have used 3 different boards and 3 different overlays, prob 6 diff controllers
Went into test to test touch it will not see it

Controller does  respond to touch via led

Simply will NOT see the controller

What could possibly be wrong ??? ???

signal ground through rs232 is good to monitor chass
Tried running jumpe from mon chassis to cabinet to verify good ground

At this point all I can see is jump TX/RX/GND around the monitor plug right to the ground plane with jumps and see if it sees it that way ........ if not I have no more ideas ....... I've covered more than normally needed to get a touch working

Any ideas I would greatly appreciate

Thanks
