Title: Video guide: how to use a RAM clear (IVC 123) chip to reset your IGT S+ slot

Moderator's note: Using a RAM clear chip is the last resort in troubleshooting.  Most IGT S+ errors can be resolved without the use of a clear chip.  If you are new to IGT S+ slot machines, do not start here, post the issue with your machine in a new post in the IGT S+ section and you will receive assistance on how to resolve your issue.  While there is nothing wrong with using a clear chip, it will reset all settings to the factory default which may require additional programming to get your machine back to its current setup.  As such, using a clear chip should be a last resort unless you are familiar with S+ setup and programming.  For more details, please visit this thread: NEWBIES: PLEASE DON'T CLEAR YOUR IGT S-PLUS SLOT (http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=516.0)

Here is a video I made of resetting my Triple Diamond S+ that had a low battery error 12, and then got stuck in the 61-1 loop after changing the battery.
This video will walk you through the reset procedure with a Clear 123 chip.

WARNING: As said in the video, which I learned from reading here in multiple places...the clear and set chips, are to be used as a last resort after exhausting troubleshooting, or if you know exactly what you are trying to set.  If you don't know what you are doing, you can mess settings up real quick and make the game unplayable.  There are several clear and set chips available and you may need something different depending on the MPU, game / reel chips, or accessories you have installed like bill validators.

Heck the jackpot key by itself can get you into trouble lol
