Title: 3300 empty hopper error. But there was 88 quarters in it?
Post by: ninnjinn on November 15, 2017, 05:21:02 PM
I have the S Plus model.

I was playing the game tonight and the kids wanted to play. They like to use the quarters. So I cashed out with 780 credits and after 740 some credits, it went into a 3300 error code.  I opened up the door and still had quarters in the hopper, 88 to be exact. LOL  I dumped them back in shut the door it spit out about 15 more and then threw another code. So I open the door up again and swished the quarters around inside the hopper had to do this three different times before all the credits paid out.  they kept piling up between the gadget that turns to spit them out and the inside lip of the hopper.

Do I need to make some form of an adjustment on the hopper?   If so what do I need to do?
Or is it one of those deals where I need to buy more quarters for the machine?

It is possible that the hopper knife is bent or out of adjustment. On the side of the hopper you will see the motor. There is a brake, push on it to did-engage the brake. Then you should be able to turn the hopper shelf wheel by hand to see what is going on.

I haven't run into this but, sometimes with the coins if there aren't enough in the hopper it starves (kinda like a boat cavitating) it runs out momentarily and the optics don't see enough coins passing and it throws an hopper empty code. You will never get (at least really unlikely) a hopper to pay out every coin before it times out. I've hit pays too big for the amount of coins in the hopper and had to add coins to get it to finish. Basically the same thing. Add more coins and it should fix your problems. Also, any time a kid plays, they will hit bigger payouts than you or I ever do. Kind of goes along with how slot machines reproduce. It's an unstoppable force. Glad they are having fun with it.

even though the first 3 days I had the machine was aggravating because of the error code it just worked out nice that once the problem was solved the kids would be with their mom for 3 days and I just happen to be off work 3 days. So I got to rack up quite a few thousand spins. And the Machine was rather generous but now I'm going through a dry spell so hopefully the kids solve that problem for me. :Tongue_Out: :Tongue_Out: :Tongue_Out:
