Title: S+ not working after adding bill validator

I have an S+ machine that was working fine with coins. I recently tried installing a bill validator but when I closed the door it displayed a "1" in the coins played and the bottom light on the candle flashed, nothing worked. I removed the validator but the problem remains. Any ideas?

Did you run a set chip?

No, not yet (still looking for it, I know its around here somewhere). Would installing a BV without the machine set for it cause problems even after it is removed?

Did you break or pinch a door/cabinet optic? Quite often the bezel will catch a wire when closing the door. Did you bypass the cash can door switch?
