Title: 1977 Seeburg Slot help...PLEASE!
Post by: MikeZ on September 19, 2014, 10:25:14 AM
Hi, I recently got an old 1977 Seeburg Slot machine (model#P5LF-2).  I have done some cleaning, etc., and it seems to be working relatively well.  The only issue -- sometimes the second coin in does not register.  It is VERY sporadic, but when it does happen, it only happens with the second coin in.  All other coins (1, 3, 4, 5) register all the time when inserted.  It does not seem to be related to the coin drop mechanism.   Anyone have any ideas?

Also, I found a general manual for similar Seeburg machines, but it does not contain any info about the top of the machine where the progressive reels and related mechanism lives.  Does anyone have a manual, diagram, or technical repair info on this part?  I believe by 1977 that Seeburg was owned by Williams.  Is there a Williams machine that corresponds to this one?

Thanks so much to you all!!!

Mike

Ditto ... And yes, Williams bought the slot machine line and for a time, the ID plate showed both companies on it.
