Title: s and s+ coin to credit
Post by: gposing on October 14, 2014, 04:31:26 PM
I know on the S2000 I can set it up that all coins go to credit.  Is that possible on the S and S+ model?  If so, I can not find the option in the manual.

Thanks

I don't think that can be done on an s+ without changing a lot of settings if  it can be done at all. I'd like to be more specific but only have read about it and it doesn't seem to be able to be something you can do on an s+.  Maybe I'm wrong but that seems to be something I've read.

Are you talking about when you put the coins into the machine, or just when it pays out or you insert a bill?

just want to keep putting quarters in and they go to credit.  Now I put two in, the max for the game, all the rest fall thru

You can do that with an SP chip that supports montana/euro  style credits.  One such chip is SP1137.  It allows you to assign a token value to a coin (you can assign a token value so that each coin can give you from 2 to 99 credits), and to let coins that go past the max bet go to credits.  You will also need a set086 set chip if you want to tokenize and enable bill validator.

sounds like a lot of work.  I think I will stick with just putting cash in to get credits.

Use a SP1137

You can even tokenize each coin so it will add more than one credit per coin, the limit is 99
