Remove all the screws from the back of the deck, flip it over than remove the top, the clear button caps will come off with the top.  If you have missing pixels on the OLED there is no cure for that other than replacing the OLED button module.
If it ain't broke don't mess with it.....

I’ve done that but the rubber part under the cover will not come off unless I remove the screen from the board and that is the part I cannot figure out and do not want to break something.

Unclear what you are trying to remove.  The button cap or the module?

I removed the screws and take the back off and take the top off along with the plastic LED covers, under the top is a rubber water proof layer that will not pull off unless I remove the  LED screen so I can get under the rubber section to clean it because the rubber layer is also the section that comes down on the board to activate the button when pressed.    I can see 2 little plastic clips that I squeeze in but the LED will still not come out.

The LED just pops off but the ribbon cable will be attached to the deck unless you push on the clip that retains it.  It's still unclear what you are trying to clean.

Also, unlike the non splash deck, the button assembly is soldered to the PC board so you won't be able to remove that.

If you are digging that deep the "frame" need to come out with a tiny torx bit, then pinch the alignment posts and the frame slides right out. There is a retainer on each button cable the must be released and engaged on assembly, I use a micro trim tool on those.

In a pinch a long q-tip with pure iso alcohol will clean the pressure pad contacts from the side without disassembly, but that has limited effectiveness. The idea is to remove grime and oils from the contacts areas.
Further the rubber can just be stiff causing issues on low use panels.

Yep I've done the Q Tip and alcohol tip it helped but the top part is still kind of dead and I still have to press pretty hard.   I didn't see the screw but again wasn't really looking for anything along that lines.  I will keep trying to Q Tip trick to see if I can better results.

Thanks!
