Title: ATM's as a side lie
Post by: Downunder on April 25, 2014, 01:29:36 PM
:fryingpan:  Apart from spending most of my time on poker machines I repair ATM's for another company.  The similarities are amazing just a lot more security and peripheral parts. Once you twist your head around the software having 2 or3 layers it's full steam ahead.

What manufacturer machines do you work on?
I've seen mostly WRG and GenMega in these parts...

I wouldn't mind having my own ATM at home. However I don't want it to take money out of my real bank account. Is it doable?

All depends on how fancy you want and how much you want to spend on it.  Depending on the model, they are just a pc running windows talking to various bits of hardware.
