S-AVP Front Door Error
« on: December 21, 2017, 06:46:14 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Im kind of new to the Savp machines and cant seem to
clear the (F) Door Open Error. Everything seems to be
closed and lined up properly. Is there a way to bypass
the switch and/or optics? The game wont start until
the door is closed properly.

Thanks,
Pete

F is the lower bottom belly door.  Check your connections and alignment on the opto's  -One on the belly and one that mounts below the deck/pad.  Check the connector that plugs in from that door-lower right bottom near 440 power supply.  When you find things wrong-correct and re-boot.  Clean and align opto's also.  Hope this helps. Also there is a cherry switch on bottom witch is probably jumpered?.

Don't know why she was a caddy here.  Try powering up and see then power down and see.--without messing with anything.  It's holiday times for all but I will help as I can on input.  Also something you got 2 months ago.

On one of mine after I close and lock the bottom door,I have to grab the back of the cabinet with my left hand, and with the "heel" of my right hand push the bottom door in the area of the optical sensor to get the correct alignment. After I do that she is good to go..........until I have to open/close the belly door again.

Give that a try...............
