It sounds like that game needs a 10 button deck to support it.

Make sure that the I/O Board is the 02 for the 10 Button (75427802) 01 will only work for the standard buttons

You need 802s on both sides of the door panel for a 5 reel & wired as pictured.

Hello,

You do not specifically need two I/O 802 cards on a machine with a 10 buttons panel.

When I converted my 3 reel slot to a 5 reel slot, I could read the same message as you: "10 button board not found"

I explain how I connected the I/O card on this post: http://newlifegames.com/nlg/index.php?topic=3718.msg19194#msg19194

Nurbo.

Nurbo is correct, you do not need two 02 I/O Boards

As mentioned in the post 01 drives the standard 5 buttons and 02 for the 10 deck

You can use two 02 boards but not two 01

still stuck here changed io cards both with ones from working game  both 02,s  still get coin in jam  , also changed  cpu, backplane,  once in a while  all ten buttons light , in key chip mode you can move thur  setting  with 1st 2 left buttons ,if you hit white  button on cpu nothing happens with those buttons goes to accounting and stays there
thanks

Steve,
Are you still getting the 10 button I/O not found error? Post a pic of the I/O connections similar to the one I posted yesterday. Do you have the coin harness jumper in place? That will give you a coin jam error every time if not.

yes  have jumper in place my  plugs are same way as your pic showed , we pulled it off cart for now and moved to another game we needed 3 for 1st thing Monday morning ,  I have another cabinet  I might  move that game to it  , I,m thinking  someone might  have  put this game together  just to fill my order out of a few other games the 10 button I/o board not found went away  just  coin in error now
thanks

And you're sure you don't have the coin bypass plug in as RB mentioned?

Are you having coin in jam or wrong 10 button panel.
If you are having coin in jam and you have the bypass plug and two good door I/O cards your 5-5-2 or 6-6-3 display may be bad.you can power off and just unplug the display and try booting. If the coin in jamb goes away the display is bad. Do not unplug the vfd just the plug to the 5-5-2 or 6-6-3.

It was working just fine then i go to put money in it with bills since the machine is coinless, right when you here thr click for the handle to operate it goes into a coin jam error. I am going to try disconecting 663 display.

Only fault im getting is coin jam on a coinless, i followed all the steps to key the machine to disable token and make the machine coinless. It was running fine then the buttons faded flickered away while it was plugged in for 1hr.

Did you replace the door I/O cards? That sounds like the issue you are havin.
