Hey Guys,

Check this out.
I used Birth Chips that Buzz sent me (set "A" as you suggested). Used the 95 page CDS manual that Buzz sent me.
The machine WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coin acceptor works, Bill validator works. Hopper Works.

Just 2 things yet to fix:
There's no sound and the spin button doesn't light up.
Thanks Buzz & Jimmy & everyone that posted,

Todd

Todd  Your a lucky guy. ( good work ) Now a word to the wise, if and when you decide to do any work to that machine make sure you turn the power off and that includes the simple task of removing coins from the hopper. These CDS machines are not user friendly.

I think the Easy Street I have is  a bit different than yours. Mine the Sidewalk the Dog travels down in the bonus round each square is a different color, and the wheel you spin on mine doesn't have any numbers, it has six different color panels. ( There is a flaw in the software and the Red and the Orange look the same on the wheel )

You don't owe me anything, if you get a chance send set B back to me and I can erase them and use some other place. ( 8 MEG eproms aren't all that cheap anymore )

Very Cool Buzz,

I got the sound to work. It's fairly noisy.....
It talks and becomes impatient if neglected in mid-game.
The board that has the 8 gig flash card connected (Decided it loaded faster from the card than the hard drive), has 2 female audio plugs. I just switched the male connector to the other plug and instant sound. The menu has High/Medium/Low sound settings but different settings don't seem to change anything. It's just entertainingly loud. I'm loving it.
Definitely on my favorites list.

I'll send the "B" set of birthing chips back ASAP.
Got a question for you.
When you say "turn the power off", would you recommend pulling the plug or flipping the power switch for this particular machine?

Thanks again for all your help.

Todd

The main power switch inside the machine should be good enough. I have mine on a power strip so I can turn on 3/4 at a time.

Remember the other day I told you I had a working Easy Street, OK so I was looking for the version I have so with the power off I pulled out the hard drive to see if it was marked, it wasn't. Put the hard drive back in the machine and turned power on, guess what " System Error "
