Adding a 4th Bonus Reel

I currently have a short glass version S2000 vision (Slingo), and was hoping to convert it to a non-vision Super Spin Sizzling 7's.  Obviously, I'd have to add the smaller 4th bonus reel, so hoping to find a kit for sale with the reel as well.  My question is, other than having to convert my short glass electronics to long glass display, would I need to make any changes to my button deck or anything, other than adding a 4th reel shelf and 4 reel wiring harness?  Just wondering if it's more trouble than it's worth.  Thanks.

From what I remember when I converted a standard 3 reel to a 4th reel bonus game (Big Times Pay) I changed the reel shelf to a 4 reel version, installed the 4 reel harness and 4th reel assembly and I believe I had to change the backlit reel board and add a jumper to the end of a harness on the inside somewhere. I was still very new to slots then but with some direction from members here I was able t do it fairly easy.

I believe I may have a 4 reel shelf if you need it. I also have a Big Times Pay 9" kit with SB and sound simm and all 4 strips too if you need that as well

You need the following:

1.  3 + 1 reel shelf with 5 reel harness with a plug in the 4th reel, you use positions 1-3 and 5.
2.  4th reel with chase lights and harness.
3.  4th reel harness that plugs into a senet connection in motherboard.
4.  2 pin jumper plug.
5.  gass kit (belly, top and reel glass), strips and software.

Since you have a short reel setup, with the added cost of converting that to a long reel setup, you are almost paying as much as buying a whole 4 reel machine.

Yeah, that was kind of what I was thinking.  Might be more cost effective to and easier to sell my Vision machine and use the money to reinvest in 4 reel machine.


I've never played the Super Spin Sizzling Sevens, or even the Big Times Pay.  How are they?

Hey Dave,  I have played both those machines mentioned and SuperSpin Sizz is the way to go! I'm sure others would agree. Sizz hits more, has a cool SIMM and many different types of hits (mystery nudge, haywire, 5x,10x, etc) .. Bigtimes only has a multiplier that you can hit..


Go with SuperSpin Sizz 7 or SuperStars Spin..

Well , I have had ALL these diff four reel bonus versions.  They are fun--But I sold/traded them long ago as they get old--That of course is just personal preferrance. Had these Back when they were still on the floors in the hay-day. Nothing wrong with them and they and others are quickly becoming classics.

Matt,  You answered that for me.  That was just MY personal preferance.  They actually made quite a few of these in diff. titles.  They were all great, at that point you wanted to know what you, as person wanted to look at visually and sound wise.
