Sound Simm woes.

Hello everyone.....before anyone decides to reply with a "Search the old forum" let me tell you i've read all the topics 3 times over...some of the info doesn't add up.


So, on my s2000 triple red hot 777, 5 reel, 45 max bet, i have a enhanced board with the mmlite board with a dsv42 installed on it....from everything i've read on the old site, using any SB chip above 45 and 90 will result into losing your option of enhanced sounds...ok got that...after reading curtin topics on the old site, it was said that the sb100497 is a confirmed working sb chip on a triple red hot 777 5 reel machine that has the enhanced options on it...BUT one thing that i caught was, is the sb100497 a 360 max bet chip?!? how can that be?


My chip set is :
SB100923
SG598
dsv42
VS011GX1
DSPL0002


Has anyone CONFIRMED a Triple Red Hot 777 5 reel machine 45max could have enhanced options for sound...?


I've listened to all the sounds on the simm and all the enhanced ones are on there and play....


Any ideas would help me out.

Thanks Jim... Can someone tell me why a sb497 says it's a 360 credit?

Tom Your comparing apples to oranges. SB100497 is a 5R 9L 360C  but it is for a Triple Stars game. Well two different list I checked it's listed as 360C, but I have the bin files for it in two places and they list it as 90C. 
 
Triple Red Hot 7s
SB100923 5R 9L 45C
SB100924 5R 9L 90C
SB100927 5R 9L 180C
SB100934 5R 9L 360C
 
Now when someone says you loose enhanced sound using the higher numbered credit chips, that's really not true, you will have reduced sounds but you will not completely loose all enhanced sounds.

With the SB497 you will also get enhanced sounds with your DSV42, the key is the SB chip.  I have a Triple Stars (clone of Triple Red Hot 7's) with a WOF sound Simm working great.

Well...i will be getting a sb497 chip (Thanks ron!) and some others to try out in my machine to nip some question i have..


First things first.....get my enhanced sound options....after that is solved...then i will look into maybe a wof simm....my ulimate goal is to get a wof machine anyhow...
