Luckily I am running the strips with a clone title Wild Encounters. Funny how that software is available but no one can find GOLD RUSH!

I've seen more than one casino either have the software shipped separately,or pull it upon arrival and keep it in a "special" room. Maybe there's a Gaming regulation stating software must be stored in a secure location? That would make sense....kinda???

If Larry got the machines direct from Bally (old leased machines), Bally KEEPS the software. Machines released (sold) with the software still installed, were owned by the casino. You do sometimes see software that "slipped through" though, so think Happy Thoughts! 

Most newer games (like Gold Rush) are leased by casinos and get pulled when the lease is up or the play count does not meet the lease contract percentage (it ain't making money).

Hope this sheds light on those "missing software" kits....
