BB1 - Best way to turn off top screen for single screen games
« on: January 06, 2017, 08:04:04 PM »
I recently purchased a BB1 dual screen machine with the TSE TSE board in the top. I have a few dual screen titles but also purchased a few single screen ones. They run great and I've read throughout the forum you can run with the 2nd display on or off. My question is what is the best/recommended way to deactivate this display? Is it a matter of disconnecting the video signal (looks like VGA) or is there a power supply I can turn off without the machine complaining. I'm probably going to go with the media player option down the road but for now just to turn it off so I don't see the giant CF card missing error on the screen when playing single screen titles.

Apologies for the basic question but I'm still learning the internals of the machine. Thanks in advance!

I think a simple fix would be just take out your top glass and just disconnect the power to your top monitor,
(Plug on the bottom left of your monitor) reinstall top glass.
Your regular BB1 games will play just fine.

I hook up a media player with a graphic of the BB1 game I'm playing - it's like glass for every game
