Can a 660 CPU hold 8gb of ram? I though the max was 4gb?
Depends on the OS.  Fam14 uses different OS than fam20, 4gb max fam14, 8gb max fam20

With the power switch OFF,  I would 1st turn Reel 5 with my hands - to see if anything's rubbing against anything.
At the same time, checking the reel strips - to see if they are fully inserted into the rims of the reel baskets.
Then I would pull/slide/yank out the #5 reel, locate the reel optics on the hub, and spray some compressed air into the reel optics so that they're clear of any debris, dust, etc, etc.
Now is a good time to completely turn around the reel assembly, and inspect the female pins inside the 14-pin Molex connector housing for any damage.
Most reel connectors occupy 10 pin locations in a 2-row, 14-pin Molex connector...backlit reels use more.
I would also check the male pins on the connector on the back of the reel shelf...make sure none are broken, or bent.
Finally, re-install back the reel assembly onto the reel shelf.
I would watch closely during Boot Up at that 5th reel to see if it's rubbing up against the reel glass display.
You may need to tighten the reel glass display screws a little bit.
That may help to pull the display tighter up against the glass.

Hopefully your inspection and cleaning will eliminate the reel tilt message will go away.
The "Door Closure MB" message is not an error, it's just an informational message letting you know that the door was recently opened and no one has completed a game yet.
If after closing the door, you still get the call attendant message, then power OFF the machine, pull out reels #4 and #5.
Swap those two reels and power back ON the machine and close the door....see if you get a different message on the blue VFD (Vacuum Fluorescent Display) screen.
If you still get a "Reel 5 Tilt" , then there may be a problem with the reel #5 harness or the MPU.
Let us know what you see next Reply.

Oh!
To check what kind of MPU board you have, there are two small, rectangular white labels stuck onto the surface of the circuit board by the handle.
We use the last few digits to ID these MPU's.
It's usually an 8-digit part number like...>>>  P/N: 75510502 or something like...>>> P/N: 75510504
The 2nd label is usually used for the date of manufacturing.

IGT S2000 and Vision Games / Re: S2000 Vision battery replacement issues
« Last post by MB75 on March 26, 2024, 08:45:50 AM »
Since I had some issues when I added an external battery pack I installed a new Varta just to check if the problems remained.

When starting the s2k I needed to reset it several times. All reels spinning but after all settings were made by just resetting the latest error I got was call attendant, reel 5 tilt, closure mb.

What’s causing this ?

I’m not sure what board I have and do not know if I need to remove U16 or U79

WMS Reel Games / Re: Blue bird meter bypass

I know this is an old post, but I just installed the Columbia Jur chip.  I can now set the counters to high numbers at least in Willy Wonka.  I set it to $1000 and don't even hear the meters anymore.
