Title: IGT Aristocrat R10 CB 2/83
Post by: Brad on April 06, 2016, 02:51:23 PM
Hello everyone this is my first post ever on this sight so please bare with me. I have a non working IGT R10 CB machine that I just think should be wonderful to play. I have gotten to know that I had a bad 337 transistor and  resistor in the power supply so I did replace them, also found bad batteries in the puter so replaced them and checked the board for opens in the area and found ok. So that is as far as I got now I wanted to check voltages on the power supply but not sure what readings I should look for, can anyone help me with that info, I feel that would be the next step in my chase to operation. I have no tower lights or real spin  Thanks , Brad

Welcome to NLG !
Glad to see you here.

Can you post a few photos of your machine, I think it would help with the questions you have.  Maybe photos of the outside showing the front, one with the door open so we can see inside, plus one of the power supply.
Thanks!

I see several fusecaps in one of your photos. Often the various power supply voltages will each have a fuse, are there any labels near the fuses to tell you what voltage to expect? If so, you can meter the voltages there. It is a good idea on a machine that is new to you to check that the fuses installed are the right amperage size, in case someone put the wrongs ones in before you got it.

I'm not very familiar with the Aristocrat machines, hopefully someone here that is will give you suggestions and advice. Also, does the machine have a full model name, something other than "R10 CB"?
