Title: Aristocrat Dream maker Slot with bonus real.
Post by: Smooth on December 02, 2015, 10:26:08 PM
Looking for a little help. I have had this thing for a while as something to toy with. It started making a clicking noise that I think is coming from the speakers. The machine does not boot up. I pulled the main board and reseeded it. When turning it on the reals do not spin as they once did and the noise starts right away. I have done nothing else so far. I was hoping someone may point me in the right direction.

The machine was made in 2004. It has never had a problem that I know of.

Thanks

Just some follow up. I had some work done on it. I now have system errors and the clear chips to clear them. I am just not sure what to do once I put the chips in and power the unit on. Model is a us03152 CDS. Anyone know how to use the clear chip. Are there are manuals out there I read up on?

Any help would be great.

So I have made it a little further. My first machine with the system errors is now working fine. I just needed to work through the menus and clear the errors and set the time.

The second machine. This one Had the clicking noise coming from the speakers. I was given another board, They moved my chip onto this board. I think this they called it a jelly bean board. The machine started up without the clicking noise. I had the same system errors as first one. I was able to work through the menus and clear the system errors and set the time and date.

Now what is not working is the bill validator. It's like there is no power to it. It does not make the noises it used to make when the machine would power on. I am also getting a BV com error. I am not sure what to do with this one.

The game does play and shows the errors on the display. This did work fine before the board switch. Never had a problem with it. even sent it out once maybe 2 years ago and had it updated to take newer bills.

Ben From Fannini Slots Has been a big help to me in getting through the menu system to clear the errors. Could the new main board just be programed somehow to see the bill validator?

Any help would be great. I know I'm almost there.
