Installing new main board
« on: April 16, 2014, 01:33:45 PM »

When started and had a 66 error pushed reset closed door and the coins played a zero flashes it will not accept coins.  It takes Bills but it come right back.  No matter what way I've put it in.  I'd turned it off and back on tried pushing the reset and not pushing it.  Closing the door each time.  Optical on the door are working in good condition.  SP 1047 chip.  Just installed a brand new Power Supply and main board. :thank_you:

A 66 error is indicating the reel EPROM has been changed. Since you change the MPU, this is logical.

Recommended solution for this error: OPEN DOOR, and with door open, TURN MACHINE OFF (for 20-30 seconds), and then TURN MACHINE ON.

Do not push the reset button in this instance.

Thank you for responding I tried this and still I have a zero blinking in the coins play box.  If I'd turn that jp key once.  I get double zeros.  And the 66 no longer comes back.  Only zero.

Does the insert coin light blink?  The blinking 0 in the coins played  window is a normal condition after a new game was installed.  I get that after a game change.
