What the Hopper?
« on: June 03, 2017, 03:56:50 PM »

I picked up an old Fortune 1 today and this is the hopper that was in it. Was this an early hopper for them? I don't recall seeing this type in them before? It is much small then the normal hoppers.

Well, it looks like I answered my own question. I found an image online of the same hopper in a Fortune 1.

The Fortune I machines are old enough perhaps nickel machines were more popular back then. The hopper size may have been fine for holding enough nickels in casino use.

Now that you have identified the hopper give us an exterior shot of the outside of the game.  Is it and old Fortune Coin Game?  Is it a SIRCOMA or as new as IGT?  I have one with a similar hopper but in no way the same as yours.  I am glad to hear that there are still old games out there to be had.

Ra,

I'll post a new thread in a day or two about this game.
