BB1 Dual Monitor question
« on: November 30, 2017, 10:37:57 AM »
I just purchased a Mermaids Gold machine and I have a newby question.  Is the top monitor card slot on the back of the top monitor or somewhere else?  If so do you have to remove the monitor to change it to another game?  I didn't want to remove the lighted plexiglass castle and seaweed if I could avoid it.   Thanks.

My top box card is located on the back of the top monitor...

I have to lift up on the glass and pull it out from the bottom to remove the glass...

My monitor is on a pivot so I can pull down on the top and pivot/rotate the monitor to access the top card box/case.  There is a thumb lock I turn and the steel case will flip open to reveal the top box card.

Be careful!  Something will always get broke...

Thanks for the info.   Has anyone tried using a CF card extender to move it down to the lower cabinet?

Give it a try and let us know your results.

I don't see what it wouldn't work but never found a cable to try.  Share all your info with us whether it worked or not.  It would sure save the hassle of changing out top box/monitor cards.
