Emotive Lighting Question
« on: December 29, 2017, 07:20:42 AM »
Upgraded to a BB2E machine and I have questions about the Emotive lighting.

Noticed when using NXT 2  the lights will cycle colors during game play, Alice Mad Tea party the top does some cool stuff during game play but when I switch to NXT 3.2 CPU and play Wonka the lights just stay blue all the time.  So my first question is does the Emotive control box need some firmware update for the NXT 3.2?

2nd question when playing games like Mad Tea party is it normal for the bottom lights to stay blue or should they change like the top?    I know depending on the cabinet some have top, sides and bottom lights but is there a way to make the bottom lights change during game play like the top lights?

Thanks!

If it operates like Bally or IGT then the light controls are based on specific games. If a game doesn't use the emotive lighting feature, it will display default blue like on an Alpha 2. Wonka was in a BB2 without the top bar so they probably didnt bother with controlling that light. Do you have any other BB3 games to try?
