I'm not sure what you have there. It's an IGT game theme, but not a typical IGT cabinet. It could even have started life as a foreign machine. Looks almost like a Universal cabinet...hmm, I'm stumped.

If you own the machine, there should be SOME indicator somewhere. It could be on the MPU board, or stamped somewhere. If you don't already own the machine, don't buy it. If this site can't ID it, they cannot help you fix it...

M Series???  I'd pass on that one.  Parts will be ultra scarce.

I saw it listed on craigslist. The seller bought it not working, decided he didn't have time to fix it and was trying to get his money back out of it.

I don't have the room for it, but if I did and the thing was in good shape, I would probably buy it just as a project. I often find that it's better to waste a few hundred bucks on something I will play around with for a month or two, rather than spending more $$ on other stuff over the same time frame.

Hey guys, thanks for the feed back so far. I purchased this thing for $65.00. It's an interesting piece and I'm hoping to find a few part for it. For now, I just need to get the darn thing identified. The CPU board on the inside is using a Z80 processor. a couple of other intel chips and another chip from Japan. The coin hopper is made in Japan. No other marking in this thing at all. The cabinet is solid steel and purpose built for the way this slot is constructed.

The mechanics/electronics are fairly simple and extremely modular. There is a main tray that holds the wheels and main board/power housing. You can pull everything out at once or just pull out wheels or modular components from the lower component bays. Over all, the design seems to be cleaver and simple to access and address.

The pull handle is completely mechanical with a limit switch the triggers the wheels to spin when you pull the handle

i actually scraped one of these things recently. the only information we could find on the thing was they were clones and most built were sent to Costa Rica. i cant remember if i kept any of the parts i may have the cpu unit and the power supply but the machine i had was beyond saving and i had no way to test the parts.

This machine is in amazing shape, except for the fact I can fire it up. I really thing the problem is the power supply but it's hard to tell without parts. Let me know if you run across those parts. Maybe send me some pictures if you find them.  Thanks!

i will look for them i know mine powered up but someone butchered the harness in it, and it would crash and reset when you put a coin in.

i looked through my random parts bin doesn't look like i kept any of them. if the power supply is what you suspect was bad post some pics of it. the one i had used a modified industrial power supply. also i was able to confirm some info on them they are clones they were made here in arizona and according to an old coworker of mine that knows one of the designers it is based off an igt s or a universal only simplified and using moderne chips.

dont think they will help but i do have 2 pics i took trying to identify it.

Hey Vtyler, thanks for the posts and information. Those photos appear to show the same exact CPU board I have in this. The door is identical as well. My machine is in almost perfect condition with all of the components and keys. If I can get this thing working, it might be a counterfeit collectors item. It sounds like a machine that may have been made by the FE Electronics company ran by man called Cabrera.

Here are a few pics of the CPU board and the power supply. I'm searching for a company that may be able to repair this board. I've actually found a few posts that give detailed examples but tools many tools to purchase.

Thanks again!

Universal used the Z80 processor. The power supply reminds me of a CDS power supply.
Reels look larger than most. (circumference)
Universal went out of business around year 2000, this machine's components look newer than that. No ID tags, serial number, or year of manufacture means not legal in U.S. casinos.
Interesting project! Good luck!

power supply looks identical to the one i had i wish i had kept the parts now i don't know why i didn't. i dont see anything that looks bad on the power supply but that doesn't rely mean anything. its not a universal the guy i spoke to said it may be based off one i know they are clones. doesn't look like any cds psu i have ever worked on but maybe.
