Model: CPS 2 A/B Board combo w/Darksoft kit installed
Symptom: Broken pin on the A board and graphics corruption.

Installed a replacement connector from a donor board and tested. Board still had graphic corruption. Inspected board and found that 4 of the ROMs were missing signals on an enable pin. Patched 2 cut traces next to the solder jumpers on the board and tested successfully.

Model: Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting
Symptom: Audio corruption

Audio would just play some beeps and the punch sound during attract mode.

CPU was locking up after attract mode. Checked board interconnects and they were good. Replaced the CPU (most likely culprit), but that wasn't it. Replaced bad Sound Program ROM at ROM 9 and tested successfully.

Model: 194x (CPS-2)
Symptom: Suicided

Installed and configured an infinikey and tested.

Note: Infinikey is a product that you configure for the specific game by soldering pads together. It injects the encryption key at power up and removes the need for reprogramming ROMs to suicide-free code and allows for the removal of the leak-prone lithium battery.
